Trinity, Florida – A 20-year-old Holiday man was killed last week in a head-on crash in Pasco County.
Reports indicate he died at Medical Center of Trinity shortly after the 8:50 p.m. crash.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was traveling north on Grand Boulevard in his 1995 Honda Odyssey when the driver of a 1997 Ford F250 headed south swerved toward the west shoulder.
The driver of the Ford over-corrected and made it back onto the road, but crossed over the center line into the deceased man’s path causing his van to flip onto the shoulder.
The driver of the Ford and his passenger were taken to Medical Center Bayonet Point in serious condition.
FHP is still investigating the crash.
Head-on crashes have a great chance of inflicting very serious and catastrophic injuries to those involved.
